The Crown Spa Hotel, Scarborough is the only 4 Star Hotel on the Yorkshire Coast. Alongside its many luxurious features, a new stylish hair salon, beauty and treatment rooms have just been added to their existing exclusive Health Club. The brief was to photograph the new areas to showcase the major refurbishments and modernisations that have been ongoing for many years and have allowed them to win many awards.

The exhibition named ‘Fears, Foes & Faeries’ will explore many almost forgotten fears and superstitions of local Scarborians. The original charms, collected by ex-museum curator William James Clarke between the World Wars, will be at the heart of the exhibition. I was very pleased to be asked to help them with photography for the marketing and promotion of this event.
